Churngold were awarded the contract by Costain to build the segment factory which will produce the 7m diameter concrete ring sections for the two cooling tunnels and the 8m diameter concrete ring sections for the outfall tunnel for the new Hinkley point C nuclear power station, in total 38,000 concrete sections will be produced.
