Sycamore Chapel and Carrant Brook Junior School - Community Work

The team at VSSP MOD Ashchurch volunteered at Sycamore Chapel and Carrant Brook Junior School as part of Skanska’s Lend a Hand Week.

 As well as willing volunteers we supplied materials, plant and equipment.

Sycamore Chapel - this involved cleaning a walkway to the side of the chapel, it was overgrown and strewn with debris & rubbish. We cleaned the area, laid geotextile and placed MOT Type 1 and gravel to make it a safe useable footpath.

Carrant Brook Junior School - We attended to the overgrown Wildlife & Reflection areas. This involved cutting back overgrown vegetation, cleaning out the pond and providing a clean safe space for the picnic benches.
