The third project within a 500m radius with the repeat client MCS. A speculative build for the Developer Cubex.

Due to the site conditions at the end of the calendar year and the moisture content of the sub-soil, It was decided that cement stabilisation was required over the pile matt areas. CCL rapidly mobilised a rig from trusted sub-contractor Terrafirma whom stabillised the very soft clay under the pile matt and made the slurry that had formed into a usable material. Passes of the stabilisation rig firstly at 1% then 3% in 300mm layers ensured the design CBR readings were hit on programme for the handover of the pile matt. 

All foundations that followed were complete on programme along with the foul and storm systems. A large attenuation tank in the centre of the external area was installed early to avoid sterilising the area as other contractors joined the project.
