Gang of the Month - September - VSSP Ashchurch
This month’s Gang of the Month award at VSSP Ashchurch has been presented to three of our Non-Working Foremen in recognition of their excellent supervision, leadership, and commitment to maintaining high health & safety standards throughout September.
The award was presented by Project Managers Sean Hughes and Jamie Attwell.
Left to right:
Gerry McGrath: Gerry has been instrumental in managing Churngold and our subcontractors through to the successful completion and handover of Building B508. He has also managed and efficiently delivered additional works at short notice, consistently maintaining fantastic health & safety standards.
Michael Hughes: Michael has played a key role in delivering high-quality external PQC pours and is responsible for coordinating and managing all concrete deliveries across site. His organisation and supervision have been instrumental in the successful delivery of B509 East Road, completed across six pours.
Jo Ross: Jo has been instrumental in the planning, procurement, management, and execution of the Vehicle Brake Test Ramps. This challenging package has involved highly technical drawings and design, with Jo providing excellent coordination and supervision throughout.
All three have consistently led by example, demonstrating strong leadership, teamwork, and a commitment to delivering work safely and to a high standard.
