Llandeilo Woodland Planting - April 2026
As part of our continued commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility, we at Churngold Construction are striving to become carbon neutral.
We are pleased to confirm the completion of our second Woodland Creation, which takes us another large step closer to our goal.
Our team has worked through the year with various government bodies, culminating in the planting of the woodland in April 2026.
The project will transform underutilised land into a developing woodland ecosystem, enhancing biodiversity, improving land resilience and contributing positively to the local environment.
The woodland will be maintained for 5 years to ensure it grows into strong robust woodland to be enjoyed by visitors of all walks of life.
Following our 2020 commitment to offset our carbon footprint by UK tree planting.
The woodland will sequester 1,896 carbon credits for us to offset against our carbon footprint.
Key Works carried out
•Land clearance & vegetation management.
•Installation of protective perimeter fencing & environmental safeguards.
•Planting of over 12,000 native trees.
•Ongoing coordination with environmental consultants.
