Public realm work, in order to complete the Client’s overall scheme to deliver a mixed-use development called Halo & Millwrights Place.

We were successful in winning this contract off the back of Early Contractor Involvement. This method of procurement mitigated huge cost and time risk for the Client. JCT 2016 Intermediate Contract, with amendments.

  • Pavement and road realignment

  • Drainage

  • Kerbing and paving

  • Services including diversions and street lighting

  • Supply and install street lighting

  • New street signs

  • Bridge jointing

  • Tarmac surfacing

  • Landscaping – planting, trees etc

Churngold successfully managed

  • We were Principal Contractor

  • Key stakeholders including Bristol City Council, the Client, residents and businesses effected by the construction works

  • We obtained adoption of the works on time

  • Night working was required for many aspects of the works
